Terms and Conditions – Dawd-Steel LTD Welcome to Dawd- Steel LTD, Before you proceed with your individual garage order, please take the time to review the following terms and conditions. By placing an order with Dawd- Steel LTD, you acknowledge and agree with our Terms.
1.
We require a deposit to be paid on the day of placing the order. The deposit is 60% of the total amount. The deposit is non-refundable if the client decides to cancel the order after we already started the work. The payment of the deposit will be used to cover the materials that has been already used for the garage and to cover the costs of our employees.
2.
The full balance amount should be paid on the same day that installation is planned, payment cannot be delayed or extended beyond that point. The balance can be settled either by using cash, bank transfer or card payment.
3.
Dawd-Steel LTD reserves the right to postpone installation by 5-10 working days in case of unexpected circumstances such as vehicle breakdown or extreme weather conditions.
4.
The base needs to be leveled and strong enough to support the metal structure. Dawd-Steel LTD will not take any responsibilities for any movement or distortion that occurs after installation due to uneven ground or unstable base.
5.
The customer is entitled to a one-years warranty provided that any fault is not attributed to the customer but to the manufacturer or seller.
6.
Under proper maintenance of tin plate sheets, a manufacturer’s no-rust warranty of 20 years will apply. Normal wear and tear and product abuse are not covered by the warranty.
7.
Dawd-Steel LTD will take full responsibility of damages that may occur due to its employees, delivery/installation team, or the manufacturer and the repair or replacement will be carried out free of charge within 60-90 days upon receipt of evidence.
8.
Dawd-Steel LTD will NOT cover or repair damages caused by natural disasters such as hurricanes, storms, tornadoes, floods or fires.
9.
Some shed components may be sharp or may cause an incident: Dawd-Steel LTD will accept no responsibility for any injuries sustained. It is not recommended to use our products without full knowledge and awareness of the potential hazards.
10.
The customer confirms that they are using the building at their own risk and they are fully aware of all Health and Safety implications when signing the invoice.
11.
Dawd-Steel LTD take NO responsibility if the client interferes with the garage or modifies it after our installation. If the client wants to modify the garage, it is at their own risk and their own responsibilities.
12.
Installing the building involves drilling into the structure which may leave small metal fragments on the metal roof, clear roof sheets or other surfaces including surrounding areas. Dawd-Steel Ltd will remove as much of this as possible after installation, however some will remain and will not be removed. This may result in the building roof, structure or surroundings displaying minor rusty residues; this is normal when working with this type of building material and cannot be avoided. Dawd-Steel LTD therefore accepts NO responsibility for this occurrence.
13.
Dawd-Steel LTD do NOT supply any electrical work or certification, this must be arranged independently by the customer.
14.
As individual building circumstances and requirements are unique, the finished size may be slightly different.
15.
Customers are responsible for checking items collected or delivered for self-assembly for any damage. Immediate notification is required, as damage reimbursements will NOT be possible at a later date.
16.
Dawd-Steel LTD will NOT accept liability for incorrect installations or modifications when customers purchase components for self-assembly.
17.
Customers are responsible for verifying with their local Council Building Control Department whether planning permission is required for buildings sold by Dawd-Steel LTD. Failure to do so may lead to legal consequences, and Dawd-Steel LTD accepts no responsibility for such cases.
18.
Upon completion of the building, you will be invited to inspect the installation and sign the Invoice. Your signature confirms your full satisfaction with the product and services received.
